Boutique experiences booking platform

The project was designed around a simple goal: make limited-capacity experiences feel as considered online as they are in person. Visitors need to browse upcoming experiences, explore detailed itineraries, check indicative availability and reserve their place through a calm, focused journey.

At the same time, the operational side had to stay light. The team needed full editorial control of titles, destinations, dates, capacity, deposits, imagery, practical information and featured listings without relying on a developer for day-to-day updates.

Each experience is managed through an embedded content studio, giving the team direct control over how experiences are presented and prioritised across the site.

The reservation flow captures guest details, creates a booking record and redirects securely to Stripe Checkout for deposit payment. Once payment is confirmed via webhook, the platform updates the booking status and refreshes availability across the relevant pages.

Built with Next.js, Sanity and Stripe, the platform combines an editorial-led frontend with a lightweight operational system for publishing experiences and managing reservations.

Limited-capacity experiences are now presented online with the same care as they are delivered in person, while the team retains full editorial and operational control without ongoing developer involvement.
